Discover the green lung of the Outaouais!
Gatineau Park is the conservation park in the Capitale-Nationale region. Nicknamed the green lung of the Outaouais, it extends over more than 361 square kilometers and is home to a rich and unique biodiversity. It's a true cycling classic in Quebec. Every passionate cyclist should go there at least once in a lifetime. With its loop of about thirty kilometers and its climbs of more than 700m, this itinerary is nothing like a leisurely stroll. By going counterclockwise, the Fortune Lake Promenade offers you a long ascent of about 4 km!
Gatineau Park has several small cafes that can certainly be used to fuel up! Just choose which one:
The Stop par excellence is the Champlain Belvedere located at the top of the mountain. The view is simply magnificent, enjoy it!
Otherwise, a little further along the route, it is possible to stop at Pink Lake Lookout. This place offers a panoramic view of the whole lake. Pink.
The walks are only accessible to cyclists and pedestrians on the following days:
*On Saturdays and Sundays, from May 20 to August 27, the shuttle runs on part of the walks from 9 am.
